RRTC’s Computer-aided Drafting students had the opportunity to tour WestLAND Group, Inc. They are new to Duncan and they specialize in engineering, geospatial, and land planning. One of our former students, Samantha Hurley, was one hired upon completion of Computer-aided Drafting program. We appreciate WestLAND Group providing our students with these opportunities.

The Pre-Engineering students completed a Cable Car Challenge on Friday, where they had to design, build, and test a vehicle and launch it horizontally, using limited craft materials. This “instant challenge” promoted teamwork, creativity, brainstorming, design, and problem solving. A fun activity to wrap up the week after several days of applied math team challenges!
